Yes I am running a recent version of the game. The most recent version (1.2.0.43 I think) is incompatible with radio downgrader and has savegames problem when it is installed. 1.2.0.32 works with radio downgrader but has savegames problem due to R* certificate expiration and works with nirsoft runasdate workaround to set date before May 2020.
The old saves were in. "appdata/local/rockstar games/gta iv/savegames". while the new ones are in the. "documents/rockstar games/gta iv/profiles" folder. That does make a difference. I have both the original GTA IV and the new GTA IV TCE.That makes the game saves independent of each other.
